Call
Call from transient man in Winchester. Caller reports that he has gotten to VA from Illinois and is on his way further south for a job. He states that he is now stuck in Winchester with no funds or transportation. Caller states that he needs only $107 for a train ticket to complete the last leg of his journey. He has called Salvation Army, C-Cap and area churches but has been told that none of those resources can help him. He plans to go to the Union Rescue Mission tomorrow. Recommended talking with the staff there about his dilema. Gave caller a few more numbers to try and also suggested calling churches outside of Winchester and trying DSS.
