- A humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps
people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Provides special service for active military.
Also able to certify instructors to teach—First Aid, CPR, Life Guarding, and Swimming.
- Anyone needing transportation to medical appointments can call the American Red Cross of Frederick
County and Clarke County. They will also transport to Washington D.C. and Charlottesville. A week’s
notice is usually needed.
- Clothing vouchers given to victims of single-family fires. Vouchers are for local stores.
Need must be verified with local Fire and Rescue Departments.
