Welcome to Concern Hotline IncConcern Hotline, Inc., established in 1968, is a volunteer-operated hotline providing crisis intervention, suicide prevention and information and referral services, to anyone in need, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Last year alone, volunteers took over 12,000 calls for help. The hotline services Lord Fairfax Planning District 7 (LFPD7), which includes the City of Winchester and the Counties of Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah and Warren. The hotline also contracts with Northwestern Community Services Board (NWCSB) to provide 24-hour crisis care intervention. We are designated as a "member agency" for the United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley, the United Way of Front Royal/Warren County, and the United Way of Page County. From Our Director Volunteer Listeners are the lifeblood of Concern - and we need more! If you want to help people in your community by learning how to be an active listener and becoming familiar with all the services and resources in this community, then call us today to find out how to become a volunteer. You will receive training, and can take hotline calls from your home, office or cell phone. If you are interested in learning more, call the office today. Concern Hotline is a non-profit organization dependant on grants and donations - if you are looking for a worthy cause to support, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Concern Hotline to support our valuable services. We also have two exciting fundraisers - Tubing for a Cause and the Annual Fish Fry - which you can support. Check this website often for updates on these fun family events.
